Key Lime Pie

This is not really fair.  My wife makes the world’s best.  But every now and then I will try someone else’s pie, but the verdict is the same.  Terry’s pie is the best.  I love to tell the story of when I was working in New York City in the late 90’s.  The people in the office kept telling me I had to try this new TexMex restaurant NAME.  So as a group we went that evening.  The food was great except there was no chocolate on the dessert menu.  The waitress suggested the key lime pie.  I informed her that I don’t order key lime pie because my wife makes the world’s best.  When the pastry chef, who just happened to be in house heard that, she came to the table with a challenge.  Hers was very good, but she lost.  Ever since then I have tried many others, but the outcome is the same.
